Original lithograph on Japanese straw paper, printed to the edges of the sheet (as issued). Signed Ceri Richards and dated '59 in blue coloured pencil lower right and numbered from the small limited edition of 50 in white chalk or crayon lower left. Hammerklavier is from a series of 8 works in the Hammerklavier Suite. This was the first set of prints printed at the newly created Curwen Studio under Stanley Jones, who studied under Ceri Richards at the Slade school of Art
In good condition with probable fading. Light signs of handling and old tape on reverse from previous mounting. Unframed.
