Cette lithographie est l’une des quatre réalisées par Serge Poliakoff en 1963, imprimée à St Gallen dans l’atelier d’Erker-Presse. Son petit format n’enlève en rien la force qui réside dans la tension entre les aplats de couleurs noir et rouge. Une dynamique de construction de l’espace propre à l’artiste, qui équilibre la composition brute par des jeux de transparence et de texture apportés aux couleurs.
